Ethnic NewsWatch is a comprehensive full text database providing access to newspapers, magazines, and journals from ethnic, minority, and native presses. The database is bilingual for English and Spanish, and is designed to provide a counterpoint to the viewpoints typically provided by the mainstream press.
The database is provided by ProQuest, and several search options are available. Such options include limiting results to full text, scholarly and peer-reviewed journals, and biographical profiles. Searchers can also limit their searches to specific ethnic groups.
